Beep, boop! Greetings, humans! It's Flo, your trusty robot mascot, I'm here to introduce some exciting new features in our latest release. I've been programmed with the inside scoop, so buckle up and let's dive into the wonders that await you.
Visibility of handling guidelines
We've introduced an update that allows carriers to view handling guidelines uploaded by shippers directly on the location or the MO. These guidelines can include instructions or documents in multiple languages, providing carriers with clear instructions for efficient handling and transportation.
The carrier can see the handling guidelines in the route section:
On the location, when collapsing a stop details
On the MO, when collapsing the MO details
Get notified when the shipper approved/declined your charge
We've introduced a new feature that allows carriers to enable or disable notifications for in-app and email updates when shippers approve or decline charges added to transports. This feature enhances communication and streamlines the process, ensuring carriers stay informed and can take necessary actions promptly.
Upload your CMR doc
Carriers can now upload CMR documents. When uploading the document, you can associate them with a specific MO, and retain control over their updates and deletions. But no need to select the MO when there's only on MO linked to the TO.
Shippers can access and review these documents in their portal, improving transparency and collaboration.
Immediately know the transport totals (weight, LDM)
Carriers can now view important transport final values such as gross weight, net weight, and loading meter. These values are calculated based on material data and shipper overwrites. Accessible on the transport grid and transport detail page, this feature enhances visibility and aids in informed decision-making.
Get in contact for your spot questions
Say goodbye to the hassle of searching for the right contact person for your spot tenders. With this update, carriers can now quickly access and contact the shipper via email or phone using the provided contact information directly from the spot tender grid and the spot detail page. This feature promotes efficient communication and collaboration, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
Place bids in your own currency
We're excited to introduce a new feature that enhances the flexibility of spot tender bidding for carriers. With this update, carriers can now place bids in their own currency, subject to the shipper's enabled setting.
By allowing bids in their own currency, carriers can align their financial decisions with their specific operational requirements.
However, please note that certain automated functionalities, such as allocation, target, and max price calculations, will not work when this feature is enabled. The system does not convert bids into a single currency for the shipper, as rates are not saved in the system. This ensures transparency and avoids potential discrepancies during the bidding process.
Reject spot tenders
Carriers can now promptly reject spot tenders, eliminating the need for the shipper to wait until the tender is complete. This accelerates the allocation process and allows the shipper to make informed decisions without unnecessary delays.
When a carrier rejects its bid, it becomes invalid, ensuring transparency and preventing confusion during the evaluation process.
Once a carrier rejects a spot tender, they are unable to place further bids on that particular tender. This ensures that the bidding process moves forward with active and engaged carriers.
Once a spot tender is rejected, the carrier will no longer receive email notifications related to that specific tender. This helps streamline communication and keeps carriers focused on active and relevant tenders.
