Sign on Glass is a simple type of signature that allows you to sign documents electronically using a mobile device or tablet, streamlining your workflow and enhancing security.

Although when it comes to eCMR the consignor and driver need to use Advanced type of signatures according to the EU protocol when it comes to the consignee signature the user is allowed to simply sing on glass to complete the process for a fully legally compliant signed eCMR.

This is a great opportunity for you to enable this feature and increase the usability of eCMR on your supply chain by making the life of your end customers simple!

How it works?

If the Sign on Glass feature for the recipient is activated for your account then once the driver arrives at the unloading location he clicks on the 'handover' button to handover the goods to the recipient.

If the recipient is speaking a different language please use the relevant button on the top right cornet of the mobile screen to change the language.

Instructions for the driver & the recipient to complete the signing process:

Step 1: Chose the device on which the consignee would like to sign

Step 2(a): If the consignor will sign the eCMR on the driver's device pass the device to the customer and instruct them to follow the steps on their preferred language to sign the document

Step 3: The Consignee needs to fill the name of the signatory party

Step 4: As the consignee please, check if all the information regarding your shipment is correct and continue by clicking 'next'

After this step if the recipient doesn't have to accept the goods per item he/she/they can continue with the flow and complete the process as per next steps.

Step 5: As a consignee add your findings or confirm that everything is fine and click 'next' to sign the eCMR

Alternatively if the Consignee wants to sign on his/her own device please, select the relevant option as a driver instead in step 2 and instruct the consignee to continue the process per next steps.

Step 2(b): The Consignor will sign the eCMR on the recipient's device
