Users are now able to easily add and manage tasks in Travefy. With this update, users can now:
Add, update, and delete tasks in Travefy
Assign a due date to tasks
See when tasks are due
Mark a task as complete
Add notes to task
Filter tasks by due date and status
How can I create a task?
To create a new task, click on the tasks icon in the top right corner of your Travefy account. A menu will then open showing a list of upcoming tasks, with those that are overdue appearing first.
To add a new task, simply click on “+ New Task”.
You can also add a new task from the Task List by clicking on “+ New Task” in the left panel.
How can I view all of my tasks?
You can view existing tasks by clicking on the tasks icon on the right side of the header, then clicking on “View All Tasks”.
How can I edit a task?
To edit a task, simply click on the task that you want to edit. This will then open either an editing panel or window from where you can edit the task.
To edit a task title or date, simply click on the pencil icon. Additionally, you can edit the notes section by simply clicking in the Notes section of the task.
To delete or duplicate a task, click on the ellipsis button, and the options for Delete and Duplicate will appear.
How will I be notified of any upcoming or overdue tasks?
Any due / overdue tasks will be indicated by the following:
Red bubble over the tasks icon, which will show the number of open tasks that have not been completed. As tasks are completed, that number will update automatically.
The red alarm next to the due date will show if a task is overdue.
You can also filter by date by clicking on the left side panel when viewing the list of all tasks by due date.
How can I find incomplete tasks?
From the task list, you can filter by task status by going to the left side panel and clicking on Incomplete. Once a task is marked as completed, it will no longer appear in this list.
What happens after a task is marked as completed?
Completed tasks will be archived and removed from the general Task List view. However, you can pull-up completed tasks by going to the Task List View, then filtering by task status on the left side panel and clicking on Complete.
For Teams:
Can other team members view my tasks?
Currently, tasks are public, so everyone on your team can view all tasks. However, only Admins and Organizers can edit tasks belonging to another team member. Someone with the Team Member role can only edit tasks that belong to them.
How can I assign a task to another team member?
To assign a task to another team member, simply click on the down arrow next to Assigned To. This will then pull up a list of team members that can be assigned to that task. When creating a new task, or duplicating an existing task, it will be assigned to you by default but can be changed at any time. Once you assign a task to another team member, it will appear in their task list.
