What fields are mapped from Tourplan to Travefy?

This is a high-level summary of what fields are mapped from Tourplan and imported into Travefy trips.

Travefy offers an integration with Tourplan via the HostConnect API.

Please reference these Steps to Setup The Travefy Integration with Tourplan.

Important: Please note, EACH product or service in Tourplan that you want to import to Travefy must be set for "output via iCom/Internet/Distribution" in Tourplan. This is a requirement of Tourplan. Please request assistance from your Tourplan support representative for assistance with this step.

Although Travefy is always working to improve and enhance the integration, here is a summary of the fields that are mapped from Tourplan into Travefy:

For Events:

  • Time = computed from StartTime/EndTime

  • Date = computed from StartDate/EndDate

  • SegmentProviderName (Booked Through/Carrier) = SupplierName, this has different options in Travefy depending on what type the event is.

  • SegmentIdentifier (Confirmation #) = SupplierConfirmation

  • Name (Event Title) = Description or derivation of SupplierName in the case of Hotel from Tourplan

  • Description (Event Notes) = (Remarks, Notes (for category "DES"), EnqueryNotes) plus Amenity list.

  • SegmentIdentifier has different options in Travefy depending on what type the event is.

For Places:

  • Name = ServiceProvider.Name

  • Description = ServiceProvider.Notes + ServiceProvider.Amenities(again I assume this is in the case of a hotel)

  • Url = ServiceProvider.Url

  • Phone = ServiceProvider.Phone

  • Location = ServiceProvider.AddressLine1 (+Line2, Line3, etc)
