Some FAQs about Tasks on the Travefy Pro App

Does Travefy Pro support tasks?

Yes! Travefy users can add and manage tasks from their mobile device using the Travefy Pro app (both iOS and Android). Supported features in the Travefy Pro app include the ability to:

  • Add a task

  • Assign a contact or itinerary to a task

  • Add a fixed date, automatic date, time and reminder to a task

  • Mark a task as complete

  • Receive reminders / push notifications on your mobile device

To add and manage tasks, simply tap on the Task icon at the bottom of the app:

Where can I view and manage my tasks in Travefy Pro?

In the Travefy Pro app, tap on the Tasks icon at the bottom of the app. From there, you will be able to see all Due and Upcoming tasks from that screen.

How can I add a task in the Travefy Pro app?

To add a task from the app, simply tap on the blue + button. In the iOS app, this will appear at the top of the screen; on Android, this button is at the bottom of the screen. Once selected, a new window will open for you to add a new task.

iOS:

To add a new task in iOS, you'll click the Plus sign at the top of the app.

Android:

To add a new task on an Android phone, click the raised Plus sign at the bottom of the app.

You will also have the ability to do the following when adding a new task:

  • Assign a contact or itinerary to a task

  • Add a fixed date, automatic date, time and reminder to a task

  • Add notes to the task

Any tasks you add in the Travefy Pro app will automatically appear in your Travefy.com account.

How can I edit an existing task in the Travefy Pro app?

To edit an existing task, first tap on the task you would like to edit from the main task screen in the app. Once you’ve selected the task you want to edit, tap on the Edit Task button. In iOS, this will appear at the top of the screen. In Android, the Edit Task button is at the bottom of the screen.

iOS:

To edit a task, click on the Edit Task button at the top of the screen.

Android:

To edit a task, click on the Edit Task button at the bottom of the screen.

An editing window will then appear allowing you to edit the task details, including the title, due date & time, task assignment, and notes. Once a date and time have been added to the task, you can also set a reminder for that task.

How can I set a reminder in the Travefy Pro app?

To add a reminder to a task, you will need to ensure that the task has a date (whether fixed or automatic) and a time set. Once complete, you would then tap on the Remind Me toggle to set a reminder.

For existing tasks that do not have a reminder, tap on the task you would like to edit from the main Task screen. Next, tap on Edit and toggle the Reminder option. If you have not already set a due date / time, you will need to ensure those are added to be able to add a reminder.

How will I receive notifications for Task Reminders on the Travefy Pro app?

If you have notifications enabled on your app, you will receive push notifications to your mobile device for task reminders. Tapping on that notification will open up the task in your app, where you can manage that task accordingly (such as marking the task as complete).

In iOS, to mark a task as complete touch and hold the notification until the Mark Complete option appears.

In Android, simply tap on the push notification to mark the task as complete.

If you do not have notifications enabled on your Travefy Pro app, task reminders will be sent to your email. Clicking on the task reminder in the email will pull-up that task in your Travefy.com account to view and manage.
