How to Create a Custom Place

Create a custom content item to attach to an itinerary event.

Travefy allows you to create custom content items, places, and lodging options to add to events. There are two places to do this! Here is the first way:

1. Go to your Library

Go to your Travefy Library by clicking on Library in the top toolbar.

2. Click on +New Library Item



3. Click on Place

Select Place from the list that appears.

4. Add your content

On your custom Place, you can add:

  • Custom title

  • Cover/feature image

  • Additional photo gallery

  • Website link

  • Phone number

  • Address or latitude/longitude

  • Description

  • Organization labels

  • Location details from Travefy's worldwide places database

  • Customized lodging details such as nightly rates, photos of the accommodation, and booking links.

5. Click Done

You Can Also Add a Place to an Existing Event (Second Way)

When you edit an event, type the address of the location below, or select "Create a custom idea or place." This will add a google map to the event. This is particularly helpful when searching for lodging options as you can add specific hotels, unique stays, or vacation rentals directly to your event itineraries.
