We strongly recommend to all our customers not to cancel bookings. This has a detrimental affect on your channel search ranking. However, in the unlikely event you need to cancel a booking, please get in touch with us so we can arrange cancellation with the channel and your guest.

When a booking is received through TravelNest, this takes precedence over any other direct bookings you take from sources not managed by us. This is set out in our Terms and Conditions. Please keep your TravelNest calendar up-to-date with any external bookings as this minimises the risk of double bookings.

Cancellation fees

If you request us to cancel a booking after we have confirmed the booking with the guest, we reserve the right to charge you any costs incurred plus our administration fee. Cancelled bookings incur cancellation fees and relocation fees from the channel - these can often be for considerable amounts and are outside our control - they are passed to us by the channel. We also reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £50 + VAT per cancelled booking, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

How to cancel a booking

To request a booking cancellation, please email our Bookings Team at bookings@travelnest.com with the following information. This ensures we can deal with cancellations effectively and minimise the impact on guests: 

  • Guest name, TravelNest booking ID number and the dates to be cancelled

  • Reason(s) for the cancellation e.g. double booking or damage to property

  • In the event of a double booking, start and end dates of direct booking so these can be blocked in your TravelNest calendar

  • Whether there is an alternative property, (advertised by TravelNest), that can be offered to the guest on the same dates

  • Whether alternative dates can be offered to the guest for the same property

  • Whether any other future bookings are affected
