In the Marketing section of your TravelNest account, you are able to choose from 5 different cancellation policies. Your selection will apply to all listings on all channels. It’s important to understand how the cancellation preference you set in your TravelNest account is treated by each channel, and what this means for you and your guests. Below are the policies applied to the strict preference.

Airbnb

  • The guest can cancel up to 30 days before check in and receive a 50% refund of the rental cost, plus 100% of the cleaning fee.

*If the guest cancels between day 30 and check-in they will receive a refund of the cleaning fee only.

Booking.com

  • The guest can cancel up to 60 days before arrival and receive a 100% refund of the rental cost.

  • If the guest cancels within this period, this means you will receive the payment for the booking. The cleaning fee will be refunded to the guest.

Expedia

  • The guest can cancel up to 60 days before arrival and receive a 100% refund of the rental cost.

  • If the guest cancels within this period, this means you will receive the payment for the booking. The cleaning fee will be refunded to the guest.

TripAdvisor

  • The guest can cancel up to 56 days before arrival and receive a 50% refund. 

  • The guest can cancel up to 28 days before arrival and receive a 25% refund.

Vrbo

  • The guest will be charged your rental cost. 

  • The guest can cancel up to 60 days before arrival and receive a 100% refund of the rental cost.

  • If the guest cancels within this period, this means you will not receive any payment for the booking. Otherwise, your booking will be paid in full.

When do I get paid?

Completed bookings or whole/part non-refundable cancellations will be paid on arrival with funds taking up to 10 days to reach your bank account.
