Where bookings are not covered by specific channel cancellation terms related to Coronavirus (COV-19) then normal cancellation terms will apply.

In your TravelNest account, you have the flexibility to choose one of a range of cancellation preferences for your listings. 

Your selection will apply to all listings on all channels. It’s important to understand how the cancellation preference you set in your TravelNest account is treated by each channel, and what this means for you and your guests.

When do I get paid?

Completed bookings or whole/part non-refundable cancellations will be paid on arrival with funds taking up to 10 days to reach your bank account.

With regards to cancellations, here’s what happens if you choose moderate with TravelNest:

Airbnb

  • If booked more than 14 days before check-in, the guest can cancel for free and receive a full refund until 5 days before check-in (7 days in Italy, Germany and Korea).

  • If booked less than 14 days before check in, the guest can cancel for free 48 hours after booking, only up to 5 days before check-in (7 days in Italy, Germany and Korea).

  • If cancelled between day 5 (day 7 in Italy, Germany and Korea) and check-in the guest will receive no refund for the first night, a 50% refund for the remaining nights, plus 100% of the cleaning fee.

Booking.com

  • The guest can cancel up to 30 days before arrival and receive a 100% refund of the rental cost.

  • If the guest cancels within this period, this means you will not receive any payment for the booking. Otherwise, your booking will be paid in full.

Expedia

28 days flexible 

  • The guest can cancel for free, up to 28 days before arrival and receive a full refund.

TripAdvisor

Moderate

  • The guest can cancel up to 28 days before arrival and receive a 50% refund.

TUI

30 day flexible

  • The guest will be charged your rental cost. 

  • The guest can cancel for free, up to 30 days before arrival and receive a full refund.

Vrbo

  • The guest will be charged your rental cost. 

  • The guest can cancel up to 30 days before arrival, and receive a 100% of the rental cost.

  • The guest can cancel up to 14 days before arrival and receive a 50% refund of the rental cost.

  • If the guest cancels within the first period above, this means you will not receive any payment for the booking. If the guest cancels within the second period above, this means you will only receive payment for 50% of the booking. Otherwise, your booking will be paid in full.
