We’ve listened to your feedback about the challenges of setting up orders and dispatching trucks with a specific number of loads or instructing drivers to “keep running” throughout the day. To make this process easier, we’ve introduced several updates to simplify and improve the experience.
These changes will be rolling out by end of day Wednesday January 22 2025.
Removed "Service Type" Previously "Service Type" (Material Delivery, Standing Haul, and Hired Truck) would determine whether or not loads would be running. This is no longer necessary.
Added "Running" Toggle You can now simply select "Running" if you want loads to recur after the last load unloaded. You can also set a target # of loads while still having the loads recur. This box can be checked and unchecked as required.
No change for integration customers. If your Tread instance is managed with an Order integration with Apex or another system, all changes here will be backwards compatible, requiring no code change for the default settings on if an order should be setup as Running or not!
