Create Equipment: Create the equipment that will power the Geofence
Create Sites: Setup Site, with Geofence type “Equipmentˮ
Setup Order: Create Order, and set the Pickup/Dropoff with required Site
Foreman Setup: User responsible for Milling/Paver should be setup as Foreman AND Driver
Foreman Tracking / Geofence Location Updates: At time of job start, Foreman will select the required equipment, and click “Start Shiftˮ
Moving Geofence Updates: Moving geofence will track the
Foreman/Operators mobile device
Creating Equipment
Create Equipment & name as appropriate
No specific treatment required in creating the equipment
If paired with a telematics device map equipment in Integrations tab
Creating Sites
Set Geofence Type = Equipment
Set the specific equipment required to be tracked
Set the desired radius Additional geofences will be the “innerˮ geofences
Geofence Timer will be set on the order form

Create the Order as normal
Select the Site that was setup to be an Equipment based Geofence
You can update the Goefence timer to configure delayed enter/exit events
Can edit the geofence directly from the modal
Operator Setup
Users operating the milling/paving equipment should be setup as Foreman AND Drivers
Day Of Tracking
Operator does not need to be assigned to the order, although you are free to
From the Driver Tab, Operator should select the specific equipment (web users can also set this in the Drivers tab)
Operator should hit “Start Shiftˮ
Mobile app will now update Moving Geofence Location
Moving Geofence Updates
As of June 24, 2025, the geofence location updates will refresh on the web display with a page refresh

The geofences will move in real time (~per second accuracy)
