Using Freight and Material Rates per Site

Written by Marco

Why use projects to set rates?

Projects are like templates. We suggest using projects to organize orders and maintain freight and material rates.

Orders created using a project will default to the project’s rates.

Watch this video so see rates setup and rate matching when creating an order.

Can you edit freight rates at the order or job level?

Yes - and these changes will not affect the project.

  • Orders inherit rates from the Project

  • Order level edits flow to jobs and will not affect the project

  • Job level edits do not affect the order or project
