The orange ⚠️ caution flag means one or more loads on a job were recorded with a different unit of measure than what the job expects.
What does this warning mean?
When a job is configured with a specific unit of measure (e.g., Ton), all loads submitted against that job should use the same unit. If a load is recorded with a different unit (e.g., Tonne, Loads, Yards), Tread will display an orange caution flag to alert you before you approve the load.
This mismatch most commonly happens when a driver submits a ticket from the mobile app using a unit that differs from what the dispatcher configured on the job.
Where will I see the flag?
The ⚠️ flag appears in two places:
On the individual load row — next to the load's ticket quantity where the mismatch occurred.
In the job's Delivered Loads column — on the dispatch row, so you can spot the issue without opening the job.
What should I do?
Open the job and go to the Loads tab.
Look for the ⚠️ flag on the affected load(s).
Review the unit of measure and quantity on the flagged load.
Edit the load to correct the unit before approving.
Do not approve loads with a UoM mismatch without reviewing them first, as incorrect units will affect payable and receivable calculations.
Why does the warning sometimes persist after I update the order's unit of measure?
In some cases, updating the unit of measure on an order does not automatically update the unit on existing truck assignments or loads. If the flag remains after correcting the order, review the individual loads and update them manually, or contact support for assistance.
