Creating a New Vendor Account in Tread

Create a new vendor account in Tread Horizon using the web application.

Step 1: Access Tread Horizon


Step 2: Navigate to Vendors

Click on Settings, then on Vendors.


Step 3: Start Creating Account

Click on Create Account

Click on Create Account

Step 4: Enter Account Name

Select the Account Name field to add the company name for your vendor.


Step 5: Add Business Address

Select a business address for the account if available.

Select a business address for the account if available.

Step 6: Select Account Type

In Account Type, select Hauler if the vendor has multiple trucks to dispatch.

Broker, if they do not own their trucks and will add their own vendors to dispatch.


Step 7: Enter Contact Information

Next, enter the Name and Last Name for your main contact on the account.


Step 8: Choose Invite Type

Now you can select an Invite Type. If you have an email address and phone number, select them both.


Step 9: Add Notes and Create

You can also add a note that identifies the vendor & click on Create to finish creating the account.


Step 10: Confirmation, View New Account

Once the Owner Operator account is created, you will see a notification at the bottom of the page. Here you can view your newly created Vendor account.
