Swap or Replace a Driver/Vendor

How to swap or replace driver/vendor once the job was dispatched

Changes are an everyday occurance in construction, and so is having to exchange or swap drivers midday or anytime during a shift, please see below how to accomplish this in the New Tread platform.

Note: If you are a vendor subdispatching and cancelled jobs by mistake, please contact your dispatcher. They will need to send you a new Order request for that cancelled job.

Log into the platform on desktop or laptop here: https://app.tread-horizon.com/

  • Use phone number or email for username

  • For mobile access, please download the "Tread Material Logistics" app:

If the Job has Not yet been accepted by the driver or vendor:

  1. Find the job

  2. Click on the X in the right of the assigned person

  3. Remove the driver, and replace with another from the list in the driver list

  4. Click on Assign and Send to complete the workflow

If the Job has been accepted by the driver or vendor:

  1. Find the job

  2. Use the Status actions, and select Move to Un-Assign

  3. Come back to the job and select Assign, to select the new driver or vendor for the job
