How do I Sign in to use the New Tread app as a driver, owner operator, Dispatcher or Foreman?

How do I Sign In?

First, download & install the Tread app from your device’s app store:

On your mobile device, open a web browser and go to:
https://link.tread.io/app

Search for Tread Materials Logistics, then tap Install or Get.

There are 3 ways of logging into the New Tread app. As soon as your account has been activated on the New Tread platform, you will receive an email or SMS text message, or both types of messages to get started.

Note: You must have been added to the platform as a user or as a driver for an existing account in the platform in order to sign in, access the app or platform. If you are not getting your activation code, please check in with your dispatcher at your company or owner of your truck to ensure you have been added to their account.

  1. By SMS Text message

    1. Your SMS text message includes a link to download the app from your Apple or Android App Store.

    2. Once you install the app, using the button SIGN IN WITH PHONE you will receive your code by text message, copy the 6-digit verification code received, go back to your Tread app & enter the code there. Lastly, select SIGN IN.

    3. Once you Sign In, please complete the Onboarding settings, as these options will help optimize performance and provide accurate load information.

      Tap on "CONTINUE", as you apply and agree to the settings shown on the screen.

    4. Select your default Equipment.
      If you do not see your unit in the list, please contact your dispatcher, as they can add the unit, or let us know using the in-app chat or call/text 1-888-558-7323.


  2. By email

    1. Your email invitation includes a link for you to Login. With this link you will create a password used to Sign In.

    2. Create your password.

    3. Sign in with your password or use the Forgot Password link if you forget your password.

  3. By Magic link

    1. If you do not recall your password, tap on SIGN IN WITH EMAIL & select SEND MAGIC LINK.

    2. Access the link from your email account and tap on Log In.

What are the supported device types for the Mobile App?

Tread's mobile App is designed to run on the most modern iOS and Android devices, including phones and tablets. The following devices are recommended to run the Tread Mobile App:
- Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro

- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8,S9

- iPad Pro (2022+)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3

- Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

- iPad (2022+)
- Samsung Galaxy S22, S23, S24 Series

- Samsung S23 FE

- Samsung Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5

- Google Pixel 7, 8 Series

- Apple iPhone 13, 14, 15 Series

- Apple iPhone SE (3rd Gen)

- OnePlus 11, 12 Series
Devices NOT supported, not recommended:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop or older

- Android devices with processors that use x86 instruction set

- iOS 12.1.4 or older

- Chrome OS devices

- Chromebooks, Chrome Tablets, Acer Chromebook Tab 10

- Windows Mobile OS

- FireOS devices (Amazon Devices)

- Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HDX

- Nextbook devices

- Ematic devices

- RCA devices
