Users are created to ensure your drivers are able to log in and access the Tread platform in order to receive dispatches from you or you customer. Each user can have different roles to ensure access to the platform best suited for their role within your organization. As a subhauler/Vendor you will need to add drivers.
To add a Driver:

When creating a driver you will need to provide a few required fields.
Role: This will determine what information & workflows the user has access to:
Driver: Only access their assigned jobs
Send Invitation:
If selected, they will receive a text & email to set a password & log into their account
Email is optional but recommended. Only one of the 2 contact fields are required. Email or Phone number.
Shared Driver Configuration
- To share driver access with companies you work with. Share access to enable your companies to direct dispatch your drivers, also known as Hot Dispatch.
Once the user has been created, an invitation by SMS or email if selected is sent to the driver to complete the login process by clicking on Log in or entering the 6-digit code received when using SMS method to login.
If by email, the email template includes your company name and the Tread company logo.
In the final step, new users enter a password, sign in on their devices using their cell phone number, email or magic link and gain access to Tread by clicking on Submit.
The Forgot Password feature is available from this screen, as a common method for users to reset their passwords when they can't remember their current password.
