Which features consume credits?

Credits are the usage unit consumed by AI Chat, AI Agent, and Generator. Library, Dashboard, Signal, and Newsletter don't consume credits — each paid plan includes a monthly credit allotment for the generative features.

What credits are

Credits are Trendier's usage unit. Generative features (AI Chat, AI Agent, Generator) draw from your credit balance when they produce an answer or report. Browsing features (Library, Dashboard, Signal, Newsletter) are unlimited and don't touch credits.

Common follow-up questions

If I ask the same question twice, am I charged each time?
Yes — AI Chat and AI Agent charge per successful response. Follow-up queries in the same session count as new queries.

Am I charged again if I re-download an existing Generator report?
No. Re-downloading an already-generated report doesn't consume additional credits.

Can my team share credits?
Yes — Pro and Business plans support team workspaces with a shared credit pool. Starter is individual-only.

How do I see how many credits each query consumed?
Inside the AI Chat conversation, you can see actual credits consumed for each answer. For team-level visibility, see "Can I see who used how many credits?"
