Using Google to sign in
TrendTrader Pro supports Google as a sign-in method. On both the sign-up and login pages you'll find a Continue with Google button — click it, choose your Google account, and you're in. No separate password to create or remember.
Google sign-in and email/password sign-in are separate methods. Whichever you used to create your account is the one you'll use going forward — your subscription, watchlists, and preferences all live on the account itself, regardless of how you sign in.
What's different for Google accounts
If your account was created with Google, a few things in Settings work differently:
No password section. Under Settings → Security you'll see a note that reads "Signed in with Google" instead of the password-change form. There is no TrendTrader Pro password on your account — sign-in security, password changes, and two-step verification are all managed in your Google account.
Display name is provider-owned. Your display name comes from your Google profile and shows as read-only in Settings → Account, with a note that it's set via your sign-in provider. To change it, update your name in Google — it will reflect here after your next sign-in.
Username is still yours. You can set and edit your TrendTrader Pro username in Settings → Account like any other user.
If your account was created with an email and password, the password form and editable display name appear as normal.
Frequently asked
Can I add a password to a Google account, or link Google to an email account? Not currently. Your account keeps the sign-in method it was created with. If this matters for you, reach out to support and we'll help you figure out the best path.
Which email does my Google account use? The email address of the Google account you chose when signing up. You can see it (read-only) under Settings → Account → Email address.
Is Google sign-in secure? Yes. We never see your Google password — Google confirms your identity directly, and your session here follows the same protections as every TrendTrader Pro account, including single-session enforcement.
