What is Cashback?

Cashback is a reward you earn when you spend using your Tria Card. A percentage of your eligible spending is rewarded to you and credited to your Tria wallet.


💰 Cashback Rates by Card Type

Your cashback percentage depends on your card membership tier and your Tria badge.

Important Notes

  • Both signature/ premium memberships include a complimentary virtual card.

  • If you have Signature or Premium membership, you receive the highest tier cashback rate even when spending using the virtual card.

  • Cashback is calculated based on your current membership at the time of transaction.


🔄 What Happens If I Upgrade My Card?

If you upgrade your card:

  • ✅ All future transactions will earn cashback at the upgraded rate.

  • ❌ Past transactions will not be recalculated or adjusted.

  • Cashback rates apply based on your membership at the time of purchase.


💵 Does the $100,000 limit refer to total spending or total cashback?

A: The limit refers to the cashback amount, not your spending amount. The maximum cashback you can receive is $100,000 on an annual basis.


🪙 In What Form Is Cashback Provided?

Cashback will be distributed in either USDC or USDT.

Distribution Details

  • Cashback is distributed on a quarterly basis.

  • Cashback is credited directly to your Tria wallet.

  • Cashback is issued after a waiting period to account for possible chargebacks (which can take up to 90 days).

Example

Cashback earned on transactions made up to January 31, 2026

→ will be distributed on May 3, 2026


⏳ When Will Cashback Appear in the Rewards Tab?

  • Cashback usually appears within 48 hours after your transaction is completed.

  • However, if the merchant settlement is delayed, it may take several days to a few weeks.

If you still don’t see your cashback after a reasonable time, please contact in-app support.


🚫 Which Transactions Are Not Eligible for Cashback?

In general, most payments made with the Tria Card are eligible.

However, certain types of transactions may not qualify.

❌ Ineligible Transactions Include:

1️⃣ Cash & Cash-Equivalent Transactions

  • ATM withdrawals

  • Cash advances

  • Money transfers

  • Balance transfers

  • Cryptocurrency purchases

  • Digital wallet funding

2️⃣ Prepaid & Stored Value Transactions

  • Prepaid card purchases

  • E-wallet loads

  • Gift cards

  • Coupon purchases

  • Any transaction that represents stored value instead of actual goods/services

3️⃣ Fund Movement Transactions

  • Transactions intended to transfer or move the same amount of funds

  • Self-funding transactions

4️⃣ Gambling & Betting

  • Online gambling

  • Betting platforms

  • Lottery purchases

⚠️ Please note: Eligibility may depend on how the merchant classifies the transaction.


🔁 What Happens If I Get a Refund?

If a transaction is:

  • Refunded

  • Cancelled

  • Charged back

Then:

  • The cashback for that transaction will be reversed

  • It may appear as a negative cashback

  • Or the pending cashback will be set to zero


❓ I Made a Payment but Didn’t Receive Cashback

If you believe a transaction should have earned cashback:

  1. Check whether the transaction falls under excluded categories.

  2. Confirm the transaction has fully settled.

  3. Wait up to 48 hours (or longer if merchant settlement is delayed).

If you still believe cashback is missing:

Please contact our in-app chat support with:

  • Transaction ID

  • Screenshot of transaction details

We will review and confirm eligibility.


📌 Additional Important Notes

  • Cashback is calculated based on the final settled transaction amount (not temporary authorizations).

  • Currency conversions (if applicable) are calculated based on the final settled USD equivalent amount.

  • Abuse or misuse of the cashback program may result in cashback reversal or suspension of rewards.
