Tria Wallet

Introduction and Guides

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Tria is designed to be your personal gateway to a seamless and secure web3 experience. Our wallet is fully non-custodial, which means you retain full control over your assets at all times; Tria never takes custody of your funds.

What is Tria Wallet?

Think of Tria as your digital command center. It is a "self-custodial" wallet, meaning you have total control over your funds without the headache of old-school crypto.

  • Human-Readable Names: Stop using long, confusing strings of numbers (like 0x123...). Tria uses simple names like satoshi@tria.

  • Multi-Chain Made Easy: Manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and more all in one place.

  • Integration: Any funds you add to your Tria Wallet become accessible to the rest of your Tria ecosystem experience (Cards, Earn, Futures, etc.).

Core Features

Send and Receive

Sending crypto is now as easy as sending an email.

  • Huge Variety: Supports over 1,000 different assets.

  • Error-Free: By using your @tria name, you don't have to worry about "copy-paste" errors that could lead to lost funds.

Convert (Swapping)

Tria handles the "behind-the-scenes" tech so you don't have to.

  • One-Click Swaps: Change one token for another (e.g., Solana to Ethereum) instantly.

  • Smart Routing: Tria automatically finds the cheapest and fastest path for your trade.

  • No Manual Bridges: You don't need to manually move funds between different networks; Tria’s system does it for you.

The Tria Ecosystem

Your wallet is the engine that powers everything else you do:

  • Tria Cards: Use your crypto to buy coffee or shop online. It converts to cash only when you swipe.

  • Tria Earn: Put your idle assets into "Vaults" to grow your balance automatically.

  • Tria Futures: Move funds to a dedicated account for advanced, high-leverage trading.

  • Tria XP: Earn points (XP) for basic tasks like setting up your account or your first deposit.

Note: Whenever you perform a "Convert" action, the system uses "unopinionated" routing. This means it doesn't play favourites, it simply picks the most efficient path for your money.

How to Send Crypto

You can transfer supported assets from your Tria Wallet to any external wallet on a supported blockchain network.

Steps to Send:

  1. Open the Tria app and navigate to the Wallet tab.

  2. Select the specific asset you wish to send and tap Send.

  3. Enter the recipient’s wallet address and the amount you wish to send.

  4. Crucial Step: Select the correct blockchain network. This must match the network of the recipient's wallet.

  5. Review the transaction details, including the estimated network (gas) fee.

  6. Confirm the transaction.

Important Safety Tip: Ensure your selected network matches the recipient's network exactly. Sending to the wrong network can result in permanent loss of funds. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or recovered once sent.

How to Receive Crypto

To receive assets, you will need to share your Tria Wallet address with the sender.

Steps to Receive:

  1. Open the Tria app and go to Wallet.

  2. Tap the "Receive".

  3. The app will display your wallet addresses for all supported networks.

  4. Copy the address or share the QR Code for the specific chain you are using.

Only receive supported tokens on supported chains. Assets sent via unsupported chains will not appear in your Tria Wallet.

How to Convert (Swap) Crypto

You can swap one supported asset for another directly within the Tria Wallet.

Steps to Convert:

  1. Open the Tria app and tap Convert in the Wallet tab.

  2. Select the asset you want to convert from and the asset you want to convert to.

  3. Enter the amount.

  4. Review the estimated conversion rate and fees, then confirm.

  5. Your balances will update once the transaction is processed.

Please note that Send and Convert transactions require gas fees to be processed. These "gas fees" are charged by the blockchain network, not by Tria.

Important Notes:

  • Conversion availability depends on supported tokens, chains, and liquidity.

  • Some assets may be temporarily unavailable for conversion due to liquidity or stability constraints.

  • Rates may vary based on market conditions.

Supported Tokens and Chains

  • Tria supports 1000+ tokens across multiple supported blockchains.

  • Token availability is dynamic, not fixed, and may change based on:

    • Liquidity conditions

    • Price stability

    • Slippage levels

Supported Chains

  • Bitcoin

  • Ethereum

  • Optimism

  • Arbitrum

  • Base

  • Polygon

  • Binance Smart Chain (BSC)

  • Solana

  • Avalanche

  • Monad

Important Notes:

  • World Chain is currently not supported on the Tria App.

  • Tokens showing “insufficient liquidity” are temporarily not supported. This list is dynamically updated and reflected on the frontend based on the real-time liquidity of the token. As liquidity changes, a token may sometimes be supported and sometimes not—this is expected behavior.

Gas Fees & Network Costs

  • Gas fees are blockchain network fees, not charged by Tria.

  • Gas fees may apply when:

    • Sending crypto

    • Receiving crypto (paid by the sender)

    • Converting crypto

  • On the Tria Mobile App

    • ETH is required as a gas fee on all EVM chains

    • SOL native token is required as the gas on the Solana chain

    • BTC native token is required as the gas on Bitcoin chain

  • On the Tria Web

    • ETH, USDC, or USDT is required as a gas fee on all EVM chains

    • SOL native token is required as the gas on the Solana chain

    • BTC native token is required as the gas on the Bitcoin chain

Important Notes:

  • Gas fees are estimated at confirmation and may vary slightly at execution.

  • Gas fees are non-refundable once a transaction is broadcast.

Processing Time

  • Wallet transactions are processed near-instantly.

  • In rare cases, processing may take longer due to:

    • Network congestion

    • Chain-specific delays

  • Funds will reflect in the wallet once the deposit is confirmed.

  • Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

Best Path Execution for Transactions

When executing Send or Convert transactions, Tria automatically selects the best available execution path based on supported networks, liquidity sources, and on-chain conditions.

This means:

  • The app determines the most efficient route to complete the transaction.

  • Factors such as available liquidity, network availability, and transaction feasibility are considered.

  • If the user wants, they can select the path; however, if unselected, the algorithm chooses the best-fit path for the transactions.

The final execution details, including estimated fees and output amount, are always shown in-app before confirmation.
