Tria Card Lounge Access Overview
Tria Signature and Premium membership tiers include access to over 1,200 VIP airport lounges and partner restaurants across 141 countries through the Visa Signature network. This benefit is designed to provide high-level travel perks without the extreme balance requirements often found with other elite card tiers.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible Tiers: Only Signature and Premium cardholders are eligible for airport lounge access.
Physical Card Requirement: Users who have purchased a virtual card only are not eligible for this benefit.
Access via Virtual Info: If you have a physical card, you can still access these benefits using the virtual card information linked to that physical card within the app.
Setup and Registration
To use your lounge privileges, you must register through the Visa Airport Companion app.
Download the App: Install the "Visa Airport Companion" app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
Enter Details: Enter your physical Tria card details or the virtual card details linked to your physical membership.
Select Issuing Country (CRITICAL): During registration, you must select "Puerto Rico" as the issuing country. If any other country is selected, the registration will fail.
Verification: Eligibility is verified in real-time through the Visa Card Eligibility Service (VCES)
How to Find and Enter a Lounge
Once registered, you do not always need to carry your physical card to enter a lounge, provided the lounge allows app-based entry.
Search: Open the "Explore" tab within the Visa Airport Companion app.
Select: Search for your preferred airport and lounge, then select the desired location.
Check-In: Tap “Walk In” to generate your unique membership QR code.
Entry: Display the QR code at the lounge reception to be scanned.
Important Costs and Limitations
Not Free Entry: Having lounge access rights does not mean entry is free.
Access Fees: A per-visit access fee is required for every entry. These fees vary depending on the specific lounge.
Payment: You can pay the required visit fees directly through the app or as indicated by the lounge staff upon entry.
Usage Limits: Some lounges may have specific usage limits or time restrictions; it is recommended to check the specific lounge details within the app before visiting.
