How to add an Acting Principal Investigator to an electronic Site Signature and Delegation Log (eSSDL)

If a study/project's Principal Investigator is unavailable for an extended period of time (ie. extended leave), then an Acting Principal Investigator can be added to a study's eSSDL. The Acting PI assumes all study tasks and responsibilities in the absence of the original PI.
