For adding, editing, and per-topic medications, see the Medications guide. Medical documents are on a separate Documents page—Desktop : click Documents in the right sidebar; Mobile : open the menu and tap Documents . See the Medical Documents Management guide.

4. Why Mark Topics Inactive

• Declutter : Keep your active list focused on current health priorities

• Organization : Separate past conditions from ongoing health management

• All associated notes and topic-specific data will be lost

5. Deletion Safety

• Confirmation prevents accidental clicks

• Consider archiving instead of deleting for reversible organization

Medications (Separate Tab)

Medications are on their own Medications tab in the sidebar, not on the Topics page. There you can view and manage all medications for the current patient. For adding medications, editing them, and viewing medications per health topic, see the Medications guide.

Documents Are on a Separate Page

Medical documents are not on the Topics page. To upload and manage documents: Desktop — click Documents (file icon) in the right sidebar; Mobile — open the menu and tap Documents . The Documents page has tabs: uploaded, retrieved, generated. See the Medical Documents Management guide for details.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

"I can't find the topic I'm looking for"

• Try different search terms related to your condition

• Use both medical terms and common names (e.g., "diabetes" and "high blood sugar")

• Try broader terms first, then narrow down

• If no matches appear, click the arrow to use AI search

• The AI will find the closest match or suggest creating a new topic

"The search bar isn't responding"

• Click directly in the search input field to ensure it's focused

• Check that you're typing at least 2 characters for suggestions to appear

• Refresh the page if the search functionality seems frozen

• Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser

• Clear your browser cache if problems persist

"I accidentally archived/deleted a topic"

• Inactive Topics : Expand the "Inactive" section and click the restore icon

• Deleted Topics : Unfortunately, deleted topics cannot be recovered

• Prevention : Use marking inactive instead of deletion for reversible organization

• Safety Feature : Deletion requires typing the topic name for confirmation

"My custom alias isn't saving"

• Ensure you clicked "Save" after entering your custom name

• Check your internet connection during the save process

• Try refreshing the page and attempting the edit again

• Verify the alias dialog actually opened when you clicked edit

• Confirm it is not too long

"Topics aren't appearing in my list"

• Wait a moment for the topic addition to complete

• Check that you received a success message after adding the topic

• Refresh the page to reload your topics list

• Verify you're logged into the correct account

• Verify you are looking at the correct patient record

• Contact support@trianglehealth.com if topics consistently fail to appear

"The AI search isn't working"

• Ensure you have a stable internet connection

• Try rephrasing your search terms

• Check that you clicked the arrow button or pressed Enter

• Wait for the "Searching..." process to complete

• If it continues to fail, try using the autocomplete suggestions instead

Limitations

• Topic Management cannot automatically import or sync health conditions from an external EHR or health record.

• Health topics cannot be added in bulk from a file or list; each topic must be added individually via search.

• Deleted topics cannot be recovered; only inactive (archived) topics can be restored.

• The topic search cannot suggest topics based on uploaded documents or notes; search is by name or term only.

• Custom topic creation is limited to AI-assisted matching; you cannot create arbitrary custom condition names without a matching topic.
