Overview

The Topic Page is your entry point to everything about a single health topic. It is one scrollable page organized into three main groups , each with collapsible sections . Sticky headers keep the current group and section visible as you scroll. You can expand or collapse sections to focus on what you need—condition info, medical history, medications, evidence-backed treatments, emerging treatments, and your notes.

Accessing a Topic Page

1. From Topics : Desktop — Click Topics (Clipboard icon) in the right sidebar, then click any health topic. Mobile — Open the menu and tap Topics , then tap a health topic in your active topics table.

2. From navigation links : Tap or click topic links found throughout the application (e.g. from chat or home).

3. From the app, open Topics and then open a topic.

Page Layout and Design

• Sticky group headers : As you scroll, the current group title (e.g. "Condition & History", "Medications & Treatments", "Notes & Plans") stays at the top of the screen.

• Collapsible sections : Under each group, sections can be expanded or collapsed using the chevron. Section headers show an icon, title, and short description.

• One continuous page : All content lives on this single page; no tabs. Use More , Get Started , Add , Edit , and card links to open deeper pages (About, tools, medications, notes) when needed.

The Three Groups

1. Condition & History

This group focuses on understanding the condition and your history for it.

• About this condition

• A card with a short summary of the condition. Use the More button to open the full About page for detailed, AI-generated condition information.

• Medical History

• A preview of your medical history for this topic (extracted from uploaded documents). Use it to review or open the full medical history. See the Medical History guide.

2. Medications & Treatments

This group covers your current medications and treatment tools.

• My Medications & Treatments (when a patient is selected)

• A table of medications and treatments for this topic. You can Add a medication from the section header (if you have permission); the section expands and an add field appears. The card also links to the full medications page for this topic. See the Medications guide.

• Evidence-Backed Treatment Navigator

• Standard (evidence-based) treatments for your case. The card shows either Get Started (no report yet) or Generated [date] when a report exists. Click the card to open the tool and generate or view the standard-of-care report.

• Emerging Treatments

• Emerging treatments and clinical trials for this condition. Same pattern: Get Started or Generated [date] . Click the card to open the Emerging Treatments tool. See the Emerging Treatments guide.

3. Notes & Plans

This group holds your topic notes.

• Group header : An Add Note button appears in the group header when you have permission. It opens the new-note flow for this topic.

• Note sections : Each topic note is its own collapsible section. The section title is the note title (or "Untitled"), the description shows the last updated date, and an Edit button opens that note for editing. Content is shown in markdown when the section is expanded. See the Topic Notes guide.

Topic Header and Breadcrumbs

• Breadcrumbs : At the top of the app, breadcrumbs show Topics and the topic name (or your custom alias). This indicates which topic you're viewing.

• Patient context : The patient selector and context are in the app chrome; the topic page content is scoped to the selected patient.

• Vault and actions : Add/remove topic from vault and restore archived topics are available from the Topics area and topic context as applicable.

Reaching Deeper Pages and Tools

• About this condition (full page) : From the first group, open the About this condition card and click More , or use the card's link to the About page.

• Medical History : Use the Medical History section or links within it. See the Medical History guide.

• Medications (full page) : Click the My Medications & Treatments card or use the medications link for this topic.

• Evidence-Backed Treatment Navigator : Click the Evidence-Backed Treatment Navigator card in the Medications & Treatments group.

• Emerging Treatments : Click the Emerging Treatments card in the same group. See the Emerging Treatments guide.

• Topic notes (create/edit) : Use Add Note in the Notes & Plans header, or Edit on a note section. See the Topic Notes guide.

• Archived/inactive : Can be restored from the inactive section in your Topics management.

Tool and feature access

• About this condition : Available for all topics.

• Medical History : Requires the topic in your vault and uploaded documents.

• My Medications & Treatments / add note : Requires permission to add or edit notes for the patient.

• Evidence-Backed Treatment Navigator : Available when the tool is enabled for the topic.

• Emerging Treatments : Premium feature; may require topic in vault and subscription.

• Topic notes : Requires topic in your vault; Add Note and Edit depend on note permissions.

Responsive and Accessibility

• Mobile : The same three groups and collapsible sections work on small screens; sticky headers and touch-friendly controls are used.

• Keyboard and screen readers : Section headers and actions are focusable; expand/collapse and navigation work with keyboard and assistive tech.

Troubleshooting

"Topic notes or Medical History shows no content"

• Topic notes : Ensure the topic is in your Health Conditions & Topics list (Topic Management). Use Add Note or create notes via chat.

• Medical History : Upload and process medical documents (Medical Documents Management). See the Medical History guide.

"Add Note or Add medication doesn't appear"

• Check that you have the correct permissions for the selected patient and that the topic is in your vault where required.

"Card or section link doesn't open"

• Refresh the page and try again. Confirm the topic still exists in the system.

"Topic not found"

• Try opening the topic again from Topics (Health Conditions & Topics).

Privacy and Security

• Topic information and personal notes are stored and transmitted securely.

• Access to topics and notes follows your permission and vault settings.

• Topic access may be logged for security and compliance.

Limitations

• The Topic Page only shows full tools and features when the topic is in your Health Conditions & Topics list; add the topic first if needed.

• The page organizes information and links to tools; it does not replace clinical care or provide diagnosis.

• Topics are from the application catalog; you cannot create entirely custom conditions outside the catalog.

• Some tools (e.g. Topic notes, Medical History, Emerging Treatments) require the topic in your vault or a paid subscription.
