Prior to sending out your competition registration link to the public, you will want to create divisions for the athletes to compete in (i.e. Male / Female, age, or athletic ability divisions).

To set this up select "Add Division" on your event admin page:

Individual competitor divisions make sure to put "1" under "Number of Athletes Per Team."

For teams, put the total number of members competing on one team.

These divisions will be drop-down options for competitors to select upon registration.
