Communication settings refer to the settings required for managing communication related to the booking process and product updates. These settings enable or disable the sending of notifications to the parties involved (Customers, Business, Supplier).
Customer Communication Settings
Enable or disable the sending of notifications to customers from the Triparound system.
Send email notifications to customers
Enable or disable the sending of notification emails to customers from the Triparound system.
Note: This will be applied as the default setting on the dashboard BOOK NOW button, during the back-office/offline booking process.
Send SMS notifications to customers
Enable or disable the sending of SMS notifications to customers from the Triparound system.
Note: Applied if the SMS integration has been activated from within More > Integrations > Notifications.
Send WhatsApp notifications to customers
Enable or disable the sending of WhatsApp notifications to customers from the Triparound system.
Note: Applied if the WhatsApp integration has been activated from within More > Integrations > Notifications.
Important notes:
If all customer communication options are disabled, the corresponding function will be deactivated in the back-office booking process and appear grayed out, indicating it cannot be overridden.
If a reminder is enabled (within the product’s “Notifications” section), disabling these options will not affect the reminder, which will still be sent to the customer.
Business Communication Settings
The selected preferences determine if the Suppliers, Business and/or other relevant parties receive notifications, ensuring they stay informed about bookings, updates and changes.
Send email notifications to Business and Suppliers
Enable or disable the sending of notification emails to the business and supplier(s) from the Triparound system.
Note: This will be applied as the default setting on the dashboard BOOK NOW button, during the back-office/offline booking process.
Important note:
If this option is disabled, the corresponding function will be deactivated in the back-office booking process and appear grayed out, indicating it cannot be overridden.
Send email notifications to booking creator
Enable or disable the sending of notification emails from the Triparound system to the creator of a booking.
Usability: Applied only to back-office/offline bookings, meaning any bookings made by the Business and not to online bookings made directly by customers.
Notes:
The creator of the booking will receive email notifications when the booking is made or when changes are made to the booking, even if the "Business & Supplier" setting is disabled.
Default setting: off
Each email address connected to a booking (assignee, creator, or any other business email connected to the product) should only receive each email once.
Send email notifications to trip assignee
Enable or disable the sending of notification emails from the Triparound system to the assignee of the itinerary.
Notes:
The assignee of the itinerary will receive email notifications when the booking is made or when changes are made to the booking, even if the "Business & Supplier" setting is disabled.
Default setting: off
Each email address connected to a booking (assignee, creator, or any other business email connected to the product) should only receive each email once.
Important note:
This feature applies to both online and back-office/offline bookings. Specifically, for the assignee of the itinerary to receive email notifications:
For online bookings and back-office bookings not made within the itinerary: The user must pass the validation step during the booking process to ensure the booking is properly associated with the itinerary.
Send email notifications when a product is shared or modified by a supplier
Enable or disable the sending of notifications to the designated business email when a product is shared or modified by a supplier. If enabled, specify the email address where these notifications should be sent.
Notes:
The specific business email entered will receive email notifications when a product is shared or modified by a supplier, even if the "Business & Supplier" setting is disabled.
Only one email address can be added.
Default setting: off
Each email address connected to a booking (assignee, creator, or any other business email connected to the product) should only receive each email once.
Default notification emails
Enter the company’s email address(es) that will be allowed to receive email notifications related to all bookings.
Note: The email address(es) entered will appear in the corresponding field on the product’s Notifications section and can be selected from there, in case the default emails need to be overridden.
Important note:
If the product’s corresponding notification field is left blank, then all registered emails included in this section will receive email notifications.
On-Demand notification emails
Enter the company’s email address(es) that will be allowed to receive email notifications related only to specific bookings, based on the configuration of each product.
Note: The email address(es) entered will appear in the corresponding field on the product’s Notifications section and can be selected from there, in case the default emails need to be overridden.
Important note:
If the product’s corresponding notification field is left blank, then all registered emails included in this section will not receive email notifications.
