Guest Validation Settings
Refer to the configuration settings applied on the widget in order for a customer to pass the validation step before being able to proceed to make a booking.
Important note:
These settings can only be used if a PMS integration is activated or if the Itineraries feature is used.
Enable guest validation on widget
If enabled, this feature adds a guest validation step on the widget, requiring customers to fill in the necessary fields before being able to proceed to make a booking. Additionally, if the customer passes the validation process, then during the checkout stage of the booking, certain Customer Info fields will be automatically populated with the customer’s information.
Note:
Through the guest validation process only the Business’s customers can proceed to book a product.
Enable visitor bookings
If enabled, this feature allows visitors to skip the guest validation step on the widget and proceed to make a booking.
Usability: This feature is activated to allow visitors not staying in the accommodation premises of the Business to make bookings.
Note:
This feature can only be applied if the Enable guest validation on widget feature is also activated.

Guest property fields (this functionality may not be available for all accounts)
Select one of the available options (Email address or Last name) to be applied on the guest validation step on the widget.
Note: Only one option can be selected.
Reservation property fields (this functionality may not be available for all accounts)
Select one or both of the available options to be applied on the guest validation step on the widget:
Reservation ID/ Trip ID: To be selected if a PMS integration is activated or if the itinerary feature is used and therefore a Trip ID is generated.
Room number: To be selected only if a PMS integration is activated and a room number is available.
Additional Booking settings
Configure settings in the booking process to obtain customer consent for marketing communications and acceptance of the company's Terms & Conditions, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
Enable 'Subscribe to Marketing Communication' field on widget
Refers to non-mandatory customized guidelines/terms that appear during the final step of the booking process on the widget.
Example: Acceptance to newsletter communication.
Usability: If enabled, an additional text field will appear in order to insert the required text. The customer’s selection during the booking process will be reflected in the equivalent field within the customer’s profile. The business can use this to differentiate between customers that have accepted or not accepted the guidelines/terms.
Note: If PMS integration has been enabled, the customer’s selection will be automatically stored on the final step of the booking process.
'Subscribe to Marketing Communication' field description: Add the required text related to the above function 'Subscribe to Marketing Communication'.
Note: The inserted text will be displayed on the widget at the final step (Checkout) of the booking process as a non-mandatory field.
Require customer to accept terms in Back Office
Activate if customers are to receive the Terms & Conditions, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by email and must accept them in order for the booking to be completed.
Note:
This process will be put into motion only for bookings that have originated from the BOOK NOW button available in the Triparound system.
Timeline: Set the time frame for which the Terms & Conditions, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be available for confirmation before the booking is cancelled.
Example: 1 hour is set: If the Terms & Conditions, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are not accepted within one hour of being sent, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
