Transactions Report

This article covers the details in the transactions report and how to use them.

The Transactions report can be found on the left-hand menu under Reports.

On the Transactions report all bookings are displayed along with detailed information such as Product, Created date, Selling Price and Paid Amount.

All transactions can be viewed for any of the available product types under the All Transactions tab. Additionally, there is the option to view transactions for each specific product type (Experiences, Restaurants, Transfers, Rentals, Services) by clicking on the respective tab.


Table Configuration

The Transactions table is configurable and more columns can be added. To do so, proceed to the Cog icon and add the required columns to be displayed on the table. The order of the columns can also be configured.


Table data/columns explained

Column Name

Description

ID

This field is populated with the ID number of the booking.

Product

This field is populated with the name of the product that has been booked.

Created Date

This field is populated with the date the booking was created.

Selling Price

This field is populated with the total amount of a booking after applying taxes/fees, discounts, etc.

Original Price

This field is populated with the initial price of the booking.

Net Price

This field is populated with the price of the booking before taxes/fees.

Net price adjustment

This field is populated with the amount resulting from any changes (edits) made to the net price.

Paid Amount

This field is populated automatically if payment is made through the available Triparound debit/credit card payment gateways. Alternatively, there is the option to manually enter the paid amount.

Note: If neither of these options occur, then the default value will be €0.00.

Supplier

This field is populated with the Supplier that has been associated to the specific product or allocated to the specific booking.

Supplier Fee

This field is populated with the amount allocated to the supplier according to the designated supplier commission agreement.

Triparound Service Fee

This field is populated with Triparound's usage fee (per booking), based on the agreed pricing plan.

Refunded Amount

In case of a refund, this field is populated with the amount that was refunded.

Commission Model

This field is populated with the commission agreement applicable to the specific transaction.

TAX/FEE

This field is populated with the sum of all the tax/fees applied to the transaction.

Payment method

This field is populated with the payment method selected for the transaction.

Supplier paid amount

If a split has been activated in order for the supplier to automatically receive their payment, then this field is populated with the designated amount.

Supplier payment date

If a split has been activated in order for the supplier to automatically receive their payment, then this field is populated with the "payment date" as provided by the payment gateway. This is the date that payment is made by the customer.

Note: This is NOT the date the supplier receives the payment in their bank account.

Created by

This field is populated with the name of the user that created the booking.

Payments

Hyperlink showing the payments associated with the specific transaction.

Business

This field is populated with the Business to which the transaction belongs.

Discount Amount

This field is populated with the discount amount which originates from discounts, coupons and vouchers.

Discount Code

If a coupon or voucher is applied during the booking process, this field is populated with the code of the coupon or voucher.

Gross Profit

This field is populated with the amount remaining after deducting the supplier fee from the selling price (Selling price - Supplier fee = Gross profit).

Net Profit

This field is populated with the amount remaining after deducting the supplier fee and the tax/fees from the selling price (Selling price - Supplier fee - Tax/Fees = Net profit).


Search functionality / Filters

Search for a specific transaction by entering the booking Id in the available Search field or proceed with an Advanced Search by clicking on the Filters.


Export functionality

Once the necessary filters have been applied, the Transactions table can be exported in an excel file by clicking on the Export button.

Important note: The exported excel file is limited to ~1,000 rows.


Actions Button

Through the Actions button within the table, the following options are available for a specific booking:

  • View: Select in order to view the specific transaction. On the pop-up window that appears all data about the transaction will be shown along with the functionality Edit Transaction. More information on how to edit a transaction can be found here.
