How to enable online payments using Stripe

Interested in accepting online payments through Stripe? Read this guide to help you with the necessary configurations.

In order to enable customer bookings to be paid online using a credit/debit card through Stripe, the business needs to set up a Stripe account.

Then, proceed as follows in order to set up a Stripe account:

Step 1: Select Stripe as your payment Gateway and choose between connection through Triparound or direct connection with Stripe. Not sure about what to select? Please refer to this article.

Step 2: Click on the Stripe account configuration button to continue with the Stripe account activation steps.

Note: The generated link will expire in 5 minutes but it can be regenerated.

Step 3: On the new pop-up window, follow the required Stripe account activation steps.

Upon completion of the Stripe account setup, the Stripe payment option should be enabled.


Enabling the online payment option to your account

Once the setup of the Stripe account has been completed, proceed to My Company > Settings > Payment settings to enable the specific payment method.

Enabling the online payment option to product(s)

Once enabling the Stripe Debit/Credit card payment method through the company settings, as described above, the online payment option can be activated for as many products as preferred.

This configuration can be applied by visiting each one of the created Products and proceeding to Settings & Policies > Payments & Deposit.

Note:

Credit/Debit Card information is not saved or kept on file by Triparound.
