As your contact database grows, TripLoft provides tools to help you locate contacts, narrow results using filters, archive contacts you no longer actively work with, and permanently delete records when needed.
Search Contacts
Use the search bar at the top of the Contacts page to quickly find specific contacts.
To search for a contact:
Go to Contacts.
Enter a name, email address, phone number, or other contact information in the search field.
Matching contacts are displayed automatically as you type.
Clear the search field at any time to return to the full contacts list.
Filter Contacts
Filters help you narrow down your contact list based on specific criteria.
To filter contacts:
Go to Contacts.
Click Filter in the top-right corner.
Select one or more filters.
Click Apply.
Available filters include:
Tags
Contact Type
Contact Type options include Client, Supplier, Tour Operator, DMC, Custom, and Traveler.
You can click Reset at any time to remove all applied filters and return to the full contacts list.
Archive Contacts
Archiving removes contacts from your active list without permanently deleting them.
To archive a contact:
Go to Contacts.
Click the action menu (⋯) next to the contact.
Select Archive.
The contact is removed from the Active Contacts list and moved to Archived Contacts.
Archived contacts remain available for reference and can be viewed separately from active contacts. To view archived contacts, simply click on the Archived tab. The list updates to display all archived contacts.
Delete Contacts
Deleting a contact permanently removes it from TripLoft.
To delete a contact:
Go to Contacts.
Click the action menu (⋯) next to the contact.
Select Delete.
Review the confirmation message.
Click Continue to confirm.
Warning: Deleting a contact is permanent and cannot be undone.
Note: A contact with a trip linked to them cannot be deleted. To remove them from your active list, archive them instead.
Conclusion
TripLoft makes it easy to keep your contact database organized. Use search and filters to quickly find the right contacts, archive records you no longer need in your active list, and permanently delete contacts when appropriate.
