How do I add a note to my client?

You can add notes to a client’s profile to document session details or important information.


To access the client’s profile

  • Enter the client’s name in the search bar and select them (fastest method)

OR

  • Go to Clients

  • Click on the client’s name


Add a note from the client profile

  • Click Create Note


OR add a note from the Notes section

  • Go to Notes

  • Click Create Note

  • Enter the client’s name to associate the note with them


Enter your note details

  • Optionally add a Title

  • Enter the note content

  • Optionally select an appointment date to associate the note with a specific session


Save or complete the note

  • You can leave the note open to continue editing later

  • Click Mark as Complete when the note is finalized


Important

  • A Title and appointment date are optional

  • Each note will display the creation date

  • Once marked complete, the note will also show the completion date

  • Once a note is marked as Complete, it cannot be edited

  • You can add additional information later using an addendum

Where notes appear

  • Notes are visible in the client profile

  • Notes are also accessible in the Notes section


Tip

Use the search bar to quickly access a client before adding notes, especially if you have a large client list.
