When you confirm an appointment, several things happen automatically to ensure both you and your client are prepared.
Appointment confirmation and visibility
The appointment will appear on your Trova Calendar
It will be listed in the Upcoming Appointments section within the Appointments tab
It will also appear in the Upcoming Appointments section on the Client Profile for that client
If the service is marked as paid in advance, an invoice will be created and visible in the Billing section
Client notifications
The client will receive a booking confirmation email sent to their email address on file
This email includes all appointment details, including date, time, and either a video link or address, depending on the location of the service selected
The client will also receive:
A reminder email one day before the appointment
A reminder email within the hour of the appointment
Payments for paid-in-advance services
If the service is marked as paid in advance, an invoice will be sent to the client’s email
The client is expected to complete payment prior to the appointment
South Africa only:
If you are set up with our payment partner Paystack, a payment link will be included for the client
These steps ensure that both you and your client are informed, prepared, and reminded about the scheduled appointment.
