What happens after I click confirm appointment?

When you confirm an appointment, several things happen automatically to ensure both you and your client are prepared.

Appointment confirmation and visibility

  • The appointment will appear on your Trova Calendar

  • It will be listed in the Upcoming Appointments section within the Appointments tab

  • It will also appear in the Upcoming Appointments section on the Client Profile for that client

  • If the service is marked as paid in advance, an invoice will be created and visible in the Billing section


Client notifications

  • The client will receive a booking confirmation email sent to their email address on file

  • This email includes all appointment details, including date, time, and either a video link or address, depending on the location of the service selected

  • The client will also receive:

    • A reminder email one day before the appointment

    • A reminder email within the hour of the appointment


Payments for paid-in-advance services

  • If the service is marked as paid in advance, an invoice will be sent to the client’s email

  • The client is expected to complete payment prior to the appointment

  • South Africa only:

    • If you are set up with our payment partner Paystack, a payment link will be included for the client


These steps ensure that both you and your client are informed, prepared, and reminded about the scheduled appointment.
