Can I backdate an appointment for invoice purposes?

Yes, you can backdate an appointment for invoice purposes by updating the date of service or invoice details.


Option 1: Update the date when marking a session complete

  • Go to Appointments

  • Open the appointment from the Open tab

  • Click Mark Session Complete

  • Update the date of service as needed


Option 2: Edit an existing invoice

  • Go to Billing

  • Select the invoice you want to update

  • Click Edit

  • Update the line item dates

  • Add or remove line items if needed


Option 3: Create a Stand-alone invoice

  • If no appointment was created for a past service, you can create a Stand-alone invoice

Important

  • Appointments cannot be scheduled for past dates

  • You cannot edit an invoice once it is marked as Paid

  • The date of service is controlled by the invoice or session completion details


Tip

Use Stand-alone invoices for services that were not scheduled through the platform.
