If you are not seeing “insurance payment” as an option in the “mark session complete” screen, it means the service has been marked as “paid in advance of session.” Here’s why:
Payment Link Already Sent: A payment link was sent when the appointment was booked for services marked as paid in advance. This means clients are expected to pay before the service.
Pre-Service Payments: Paid in advance session services will send out payment links and invoices to be paid before the service.
Billing Insurance for Reimbursement: If you want to bill insurance for reimbursement, you need to mark your services to be paid at session completion.
To change this setting:
Go to the payment tab during service creation.
Edit the service by clicking on the edit option.
Navigate to the payment tab.
Select “paid at session completion.”
Click save to apply the change to the service.
By ensuring services are marked to be paid at session completion, you can enable the insurance payment option when marking the session complete.
