Understanding the Billing Section

In the billing section of Trova, each invoice offers several management options depending on its status:

  • Edit: Available for all invoices in draft or sent status across all payment types (Manage Payments, Online Payments, Other Payment Types, and Insurance Payments). You can update line items and other details before finalizing the invoice.

  • Preview: Allows you to review how the invoice looks for invoices in both draft and sent statuses. If an invoice is in paid status, the system will display the receipt by default. You can also download or view the invoice using the menu option on the right side.

  • Mail: This option is available for all payment types. You can:

    • Send invoices and payment links (if integrated with a payment partner) to the client’s email on file, with the ability to add additional email addresses.

    • In the case of paid invoices, you can resend the invoice and/or receipt.

  • Mail to Insurance: This option is only available when the payment type is insurance. It autofills the insurance company's claim email address and populates a message in the body of the email for reimbursement. You can edit this message as needed and attach documents required for reimbursement.

These tools are designed to enhance your flexibility in handling invoicing, ensuring that you can adapt to various billing scenarios and client needs efficiently.
