You can update procedure codes in the following scenarios:
Service setup
Add or update procedure codes when creating or editing a service
During booking
When booking a service that requires payment in advance, you can add procedure codes during invoice review
Marking a session complete
Add or edit procedure codes when generating an invoice after a session
Invoice editing
Update procedure codes on invoices in Draft or Sent status
Important
Paid invoices cannot be edited
To make changes after payment, you will need to create a new invoice
The procedure code dropdown feature is currently only available in South Africa
Procedure codes are primarily used for medical aid (insurance) billing
Tip
Review and confirm procedure codes before marking an invoice as paid to avoid needing to recreate invoices.
