Can I add or edit procedure codes in billing?

You can update procedure codes in the following scenarios:

  • Service setup

    • Add or update procedure codes when creating or editing a service

  • During booking

    • When booking a service that requires payment in advance, you can add procedure codes during invoice review

  • Marking a session complete

    • Add or edit procedure codes when generating an invoice after a session

  • Invoice editing

    • Update procedure codes on invoices in Draft or Sent status


Important

  • Paid invoices cannot be edited

  • To make changes after payment, you will need to create a new invoice

  • The procedure code dropdown feature is currently only available in South Africa

  • Procedure codes are primarily used for medical aid (insurance) billing


Tip

Review and confirm procedure codes before marking an invoice as paid to avoid needing to recreate invoices.
