What if the procedure code is not in the system?

If the procedure code you need is not available, you can still enter it manually.


How to add a code manually

  • Type the procedure code directly into the field

  • Enter the description manually


How it works

  • If the system does not recognize the code, a dropdown will not appear

  • The description will not auto-fill

  • You will need to complete all details manually


Important

  • The procedure code dropdown feature is only available in South Africa

  • Manual entry allows you to use any codes required for your billing and documentation


Tip

Be sure to enter clear and accurate descriptions when adding codes manually to avoid confusion during billing or claims processing.
