When can I use the edit button in billing?

The edit button in billing is available when an invoice is in Sent or Draft status. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Access the Edit Button:

    • Click on an invoice that is in Sent or Draft status.

    • Click the edit button.

  2. Edit Invoice Details:

    • Add, edit, or remove invoice line items as needed.

  3. Insurance Invoices:

    • For invoices in Draft or Sent status, click “Generate Invoice” to save the edited invoice.

  4. Online Payment Invoices:

    • For invoices in Sent status, click “Request Payment” to save the edited invoice.

    • This action will send out a new payment link and invoice reflecting the changes made.

Please note: The edit button is not available for invoices in Paid status as the invoice has already been paid.
