No. Once a note is marked Complete, the original note can no longer be edited.
What happens when a note is marked Complete?
The note status changes from Open to Complete
The original note is finalized and becomes read-only
The Date Completed is recorded
What can I still do?
Even after a note is marked Complete, you can continue to:
Add attachments
Add addendums to document additional information
Addendums preserve the original note while allowing you to record new information as it becomes available.
Why can't completed notes be edited?
Locking completed notes helps preserve the integrity of your documentation by maintaining a clear and accurate record of what was originally recorded.
Tip
If you're still documenting a client session or expect additional information, use Save for later until you're ready to finalize the note.
