Connecting Google Meet for your virtual appointments

Enhance your virtual appointments by seamlessly integrating Google Meet with Trova.

Video conferencing integrations are available on all plans.


How to connect Google Meet

1. Access your settings

  • Click your profile picture in the top right corner

    Click on your profile picture
  • Select Configuration

    Next click on configuration

2. Connect Google Meet

  • Locate Google Meet

    Locate Google Meet and click connect
  • Click Connect

    Click connect to Google Meet
  • Then click Connect to Google Meet


3. Sign in to Google

  • A new browser tab will open

    A new tab will open on your browser
  • Click Continue with Google

    Click continue with Google
  • Select the Google account you want to use

    Connect the Google account you want to connect to Google Meet


    (Most users choose their practice email)


4. Grant permissions

  • Click Allow to give Trova access

    Click allow, to allow Trova access to your account

This allows Trova to:

  • Generate Google Meet links

  • Automatically include links in bookings and reminders


5. Complete setup

  • Return to Trova

  • Click I am done to finish

    Finish set up

What happens next

Once connected:

  • Google Meet links are automatically added to virtual appointments

  • Clients receive the link in booking confirmations and reminders

  • You can host sessions directly through Trova


Important tip 💡

Make sure you are signed into the same Google account you connected when starting your session.

  • If you can join instantly → ✅ You’re signed in correctly

  • If you’re asked to request access → ❌ You’re on the wrong account

This happens because Google treats you like a participant instead of the host.
