I’m having trouble signing in or using the app—should I update my phone’s OS?

Yes—out-of-date operating systems can cause crashes, sign-in loops, or video-call issues. Updating iOS/Android fixes most problems and ensures compatibility with the latest Trova app.

Update your OS

  • iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings → General → Software Update, then turn on Automatic Updates and install any available update. Apple Support+1

  • Android: Go to Settings → System → Software update and follow the prompts. (Names may vary by device.) Google Help

Check app compatibility

  • On your device’s App Store / Google Play listing, look under Compatibility or About this app to confirm your device and OS version are supported.

Why this matters

  • Older OS versions may not support modern webviews, security frameworks, notifications, or camera/microphone permissions needed for virtual sessions.

If issues persist

  • Update the Trova app itself, then force-quit and reopen, restart your device, or uninstall/reinstall the app.
