Why does Zoom say I’m a participant instead of the host?

This usually happens when you are not signed into the same Zoom account that you connected to Trova.

To avoid this:

  • Make sure you are logged into the same email address and Zoom account that you connected to Trova for hosting

  • If you are signed into a different Zoom account, Zoom may treat you as a client/participant instead of the host

If this happens, sign into the correct Zoom account and re-enter the meeting using the same link.
