Equipment Configurations - What They Are and How They Work

Equipment configurations define specific truck-trailer combinations with their dimensions and axle specifications. Use them to ensure proper load matching and compliance.

How To Enable Equipment Configurations

  1. Go to Settings β†’ App Settings β†’ Organization

  2. Toggle on Equipment configurations

Creating Equipment Configurations

  1. Go to Equipment β†’ Configurations tab
    ​

  2. Click New Configuration

  3. Enter configuration details:

Name

The label you gave this configuration (e.g. β€œ3-axle lowboy + day cab”). This is what people recognize when assigning a rig to a load

Truck

The unit tied to this configuration

Trailer

The trailer(s) in this setup. Multiple trailers appear comma-separated, each linkable. β€” if there are no trailers

Axles

Axle count for the combined configuration

Total length

Overall length for the combined truck + trailer(s), in your workspace units

Total width

Overall width for the combined rig

Deck height

Deck height for the combined configuration

Total weight

Total weight for the combined configuration

4. Save the configuration.


Applying Configurations to Trips

When creating or editing a trip:

  1. Find the Equipment Configuration field
    ​

  2. Select from your saved configurations
    ​

  3. The configuration is associated with the trip


Filtering by Configuration

On the Trips table:

  1. Click Filters
    ​

  2. Select Equipment Configuration
    ​

  3. Choose the configuration(s) you want to see
    ​

  4. Results filter to matching trips
