What is the Local Battery project about?

In addition to the residential roads, it is about our common, green future. In a pilot project, True Energy and Radius test electric cars' ability to act as a backup in the electricity grid and limit the need for expensive, disruptive extensions.

Smart grid instead of expensive construction projects

In the pilot project, True Energy and the electricity network company Radius are testing new ways of using the existing electricity network in a smart way by thinking electric cars into the equation. It can save us from having to expand existing capacity - which requires major construction projects, excavation of roads across the country, and large public budgets.
