This does not apply to Tesla, VW ID, Audi, Porsche, and Jaguar as we retrieve the SoC from the car directly.

When the True Energy app "communicates" with your charger, then it doesn't receive direct information about the battery level of your car. This means that it does not know how much percentage there is on your battery when you plug the charging cable into your car.

The app needs that number to create the best and most optimal charging plan. That's why we ask you to enter the battery level every time you plug the charging cable into your car, e.g. when you get home from work.

If you don't enter the battery level, then the app will "assume" that the battery status is 5% and create a charging plan based on that number. You will therefore continue to charge during the cheap hours, but not necessarily the cheapest hours, as the app without the correct, battery level will "assume" that the car needs more charging.

When the car is fully charged, then charging will stop automatically, and the car will be ready at the Ready time set in the charge rule.
