June 2023: We now integrate directly to all Audi EVs

We now have an integration for all Audi Etron models. If you already use our app to smart charge, this means that you no longer have to enter the State of Charge (SoC).

We create a charger for each new place you charge your EV. They will be on the list of chargers as "InCar+address", and you will then as a result, get a full list of chargers.

NOTE! The integration does not work with Audi hybrid cars, as they are built on a different technology that the app cannot "talk" to.

How do you add your Audi Etron?

Before you get started

  1. Download the latest version of the True Energy app from the App Store or Google Play and plug the charging cable into your car.

  2. If you do not already have a myAudi app account, you must create one and add your car. You can find the myAudi app in the App Store or Google Play.

In the True Energy app

  1. Add your car: Find it in the list of car brands. You will then be asked to log in and connect your myAudi app.

  2. Create a charge rule: You can create one for every day, one for weekdays and one for the weekend or whatever suits you.

We now charge your car according to your preferences.

Do you already use the app with your Audi?

Then you have 2 options:

  1. You do nothing and continue to use the app and enter the State of Charge (SoC) as before. You will not have InCar chargers created in the app, as the app is connected to your charging box and not directly to the car.

  2. You delete your car and your charging box in the app and follow the above 2 steps and avoid entering the car's battery level in the future. However, this means that you lose your charge history.

Do you have an Audi hybrid car?

Then you can still use our app. Follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Add your car: Find it in the list of car brands.

  2. Add your charging box: Find it in the list of charging boxes. You will then be asked to log in and connect your charging box to the app. We support charging boxes from Charge Amps, EVBox, Etrel, Easee and go-e (before 2020).

  3. Create a charging rule: You can set up a rule that suits exactly your needs.

Always remember to enter the State of Charge in the app when you charge at home, so we know how much to charge your car.

We now charge your car according to your preferences.
