How do I add my Tesla?

How to add Tesla car in the app

​NOTE: If you have a leased Tesla, click here



Before you start:

  1. Download the latest version of the True Energy app from the App Store or Google Play and connect the charging cable to your car.
    ​

  2. If you don't already have a Tesla app account, create one and add your car. You can find the Tesla app in the App Store or Google Play.
    ​

In the True Energy app:

  1. Add your car: Locate it in the list of car brands. Afterwards, you will be prompted to log in and connect your Tesla app. (Email + password)

  3. Click allow to the following boxes. Only the top 3 is needed.


    ​

  4. A loading screen will now pop up. Wait for loading to be done to do the next step.

  5. Set up the Virtual Third Party key
    ​

  6. Click "Approve" request in the Tesla app (Opens automatically)
    ​

  7. Make sure that the Tesla phone key is already configured on your device.

Note: Because you have a Tesla, you do not need to add a charging box.
