Charge rules provide you with the assurance that your car is ready in the morning before you head to work. You can have a rule for each day or for the weekend and weekdays. Follow these steps to get started:

  • Name: Specify the name for your rule (e.g., Weekday, Weekend, or Monday)

  • Car: Select your car

  • Charging box: Select your charging box

  • Ready at time: Specify when the car should be ready (e.g., 07:30)

  • Charging method: Choose whether you want the greenest or cheapest power

  • Active days: Select which days the rule should apply to

  • Safety distance: Specify a safety distance (e.g., 10%)

  • Battery level: Specify the maximum battery level (only applies to our car integrations)

  • Precondition: Specify the time for battery or cabin heating (Tesla only)

Based on your rule, the car's battery level, and the electricity prices for the next 24 hours, we will plan and manage the charging of your electric vehicle automatically.

We recommend a charge rule for each day to ensure your car always charges optimally. Otherwise, we will charge the car without our smart logic, if there is no applicable rule.

Remember to create rules for all days, or refrain from charging if it is not necessary.
