When you put your car in Manuel mode it means that your car charging is no longer handled smart via your charge rules, and that the car will start charging when you plug the cable. You can find Manual mode under Cars -> my car.
Use Manual mode if you for some reason have trouble using your charge rules or if you come home and need to charge immediately - or use Boost.
Your car will charge to the Battery level that you have entered in the charge rule for the specific weekday you choose to use Manual mode.
The car will not participate in Big Battery, and hence will not help balance the grid.
When you car has charged, remember to switch off Manual mode. Then you will go back to smart charging automatically via your charge rules.
